RIO's Checkmate is a 4" long fly designed specifically for Kings/Chinooks; The fly sinks well, has great movement and invokes hard, positive strikes The colors offered attract fish depending on where they are in the river. For example, chartreuse is an excellent choice when you are closer to the salt and going after the freshest fish, but you'll want to use the other colors when targeting fish further up the system, or that have been in the water longer.
