This is one of the best times of year to fish Spring Creeks.  Dry fly-fishing  is great!  Expect rising fish throughout the day, caddis hatches in evenings, and PMDs are good mid-day.  Long leaders and delicate presentation will be best to catch fish on sunny days.

Nymphing is best now with midge, sowbug, scud, caddis and mayfly larva patterns. Sporadic midge hatches will make for some dry fly fishing at times. Try using patterns with no beads as spring creek fish can be shy of them.
