YNP Report 9/14/2021

Date: 09/14/2021

Current Conditions

Terrestrials and attractor patterns(purple haze, royal wolfs, and stimulators) continue to be a great option in the park especially in the afternoons. However, the dry fly fishing seems to be tapering off slightly. Droppers have also been affective with pheasant tails, thread frenchies, and squirrel and coppers. I would only nymph if the dry droppers stuff hasn't been affective. Streamer fishing with some small buggers and sculpin patterns should also turn some heads. Water levels may be a little low but everything is cold and fishable.

Remember to pinch barbs and no lead in Yellowstone National Park.
