The Bighorn is fishing very well, mostly producing fish sub-surface but the dry fly action is right around the corner. Fish are moving into the summer water, faster-moving shelves and riffles. PMD nymphs, perdigons, ray Charles, sowbugs, and other Baetis nymphs. PMDs should be hatching very soon. The flows are very low, but the fish are still very active and the water is running cold. Terrestrials are starting to appear and a few fish should be able to be tricked on a hopper imitation. Streamer action is slow but a few fish can be picked up on flashy, small streamers.
