Yellowstone River Report 9/7/2017

Sep, 07 2017

The Yellowstone is fishing especially well for this time of year. The "Midnight Stones" have been hatching in good numbers lately so a light colored Stonefly Nymph has been a must have most of the day. Chubby Chernobyls are working well in the morning and slowing down a little in the afternoon. Hoppers start to pick up the slack later in the day. Flying Ants have been getting as much or even more attention than the Hopper a lot of days. Small Purple Haze's and Adams are productive in the foam back eddies and slicks when there are a few risers around.

Fins & Feathers is a full service fly-shop that offers many different guided fishing trip option on many of the local rivers including the Yellowstone
