Yellowstone River Fishing Report July 11, 2018

Yellowstone River Report 7/11/2018

Jul, 11 2018

The Yellowston has been gradually returning to it's old form. One day it will fish fantastic and the next will be a little more difficult. The river is still high but has been staying clear. The best reports have been coming from the folks who were willing to spend a little more windsheild time and go above Yankee Jim Canyon. Salmonflies and Goldenstones are still bringing up plenty of fish as are Green Drakes, Caddis and Attractors like Royal Wullfs, Trudes and Stimulators. Rubberlegs and other Stonefly Nymphs have been staying productive as have been Lightning Bugs, Prince Nymphs and Copper John's. The Streamer fishing has been good during low light conditions early morning or just before dark.
