Yellowstone River Fishing Report December 1, 2017

Yellowstone River Report 12/1/2017

Dec, 01 2017

The Yellowstone is unusually open for the time of year. Meaning there isn’t much or any shelf-ice. However, historically the Stone isn’t very reliable this time of year. There are some big fish to be caught on a slow-stripped streamer, or if a decent hatch comes off, but overall the other waters of southwest Montana are more worth your time.

Fins & Feathers is a full service fly-shop that offers many different guided fishing trip option on many of the local rivers including the Yellowstone
