Spring Creeks Fishing Report 11/17/2016

Nov, 17 2016

The Paradise Valley Spring Creeks are primed and ready for you. Checking the rod availability list for Depuys showed their aren't too many people booked through the holidays so far. The reports I've gotten from a few friends have good. The Browns have been tough but the Rainbows have been pretty good entertainment. Hopefully this weather change will have a possitive effect on the Browns. Baetis and Midges have been the only real hatches to prepare for. Fish have been rising to Midges early in the morning after first light and again just befor dark. The Baetis have been hatching early to mid afternoon. The fish may or may not be looking up for them depending on the weather. Windy and sunny not so much, but calm and cloudy... Be ready with a good handful of #18-22 BWO Emergers, Cripples and Duns. The best patterns for nymphing lately have been a combination of a Scud or Sow Bug and a Baetis Nymph or Midge Pupa. Eggs have had a moment or two as well.
