Looking for a quick introduction to fly fishing or only have a few hours to get out on the water with one of our fly fishing guides? A half-day float on the lower Madison is likely to be the perfect choice.
Rates include use of rods, reels, waders, boots, flies, and terminal tackle.
Half-day guided fly-fishing trips are a great choice when time is limited but you still want to get out on the water to enjoy a taste of what Montana fly-fishing has to offer. The short duration limits our trips to the nearest fisheries which are the Gallatin and Lower Madison rivers. Early morning start times of around 7:30 AM ensure a few hours of quiet time on the water whether we are floating or wading.
Advanced reservations are recommended for our guided fly-fishing trips during the peak season of June-September. Last minute availability is difficult to find in July and August, so we recommend trying to plan at least a few weeks in advance. We try to accommodate last minute requests, so feel free to reach out at any point during your vacation and we will make room whenever possible.
