The Gallatin is threatened by a large "Glamping Resort" just downstream of Gateway. A resort such as this not only has the potential to degrade the environment along the Gallatin but also cause glamper and angler confrontations being as close it is to an access point. Beyond this, the resort would require a fiber optic cable and sewage line to be installed beneath the river bed.
