Big Conservation Win for Paradise Valley

Oct, 10 2018

Public lands in Montana are one of the most treasured public resources by anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. Without public land in this beautiful state activities like fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping would become nearly impossible. These activities are important to Montanan's, especially the staff at your Bozeman Fly Fhop, as is the gorgeous and wild public lands that the state is known for. Monday, Ryan Zinke signed an order that has extended a ban on new mining north of Yellowstone National Park. The ban would have expired next month but luckily, Zinke has extended the mineral withdrawal by 20 years. This is a huge win for public lands, conservation, and wildlife in the Paradise Valley and Gardiner Basin areas and awin for all of Montana. Check out the links below for the whole story.
