Fly Tying Classes 2010

Fins & Feathers has one of the best selections of fly ting materials and tools found anywhere. Fly tying is an integral part of the sport for many anglers and we offer several introductory courses throughout the winter and spring to help you get started.

Our introductory course runs for 5 weeks (one night a week) and is geared towards the beginner or novice fly tyer. We will cover all the basic techniques that are used to tie a wide range of classic and local fly patterns.

The cost for the 5 week class is $40 and includes the use of tools and materials during the course.  Class size is limited to 7 participants and is taught here at the shop after hours. Private Lessons

Our staff and guides are all terrific instructors and available for private or small group lessons covering a wide range of topics. We can cover anything from the basics of fly tying to learning how to double-haul. Our general rate for private lessons is $40 per hour and we can easily arrange any itinerary to meet your needs.
