Fly-Fishing Classes 2010
Introduction to Fly-Fishing
If you are new to fly-fishing and want to learn the basics, this class is for you. Our introductory class focuses on teaching the basics of the sport like casting, knot-tying, stream side entomology, and reading the water. We spend the morning in a classroom setting reviewing all the basics and then head to some private water for a few hours of putting all this information to use. It’s a great way to learn about the sport while also getting some hands on experience in a low pressure atmosphere!
Cost for this one day course is $100 and includes lunch as well as complimentary use of equipment for the day. Participants will need to have a valid MT Fishing License and dress appropriately for the weather. Just call the shop at 406-586-2188, send us an e-mail, or contact us to reserve a spot with a 50% deposit.
